Switched our kids to private - used to be a good school, but all they do is teach to the standardized federal tests now. Stronger or weaker students will suffer here (average kids do ok).
I absolutely love Buffalo Elementary. The teachers and support staff are phenomenal and it shows by how they interact with the children. The teachers my daughter has had truly care about her overall well-being (not just her academic ability). I can't say enough positive things about the guidance counselor, Mrs. Vaughn; my daughter is blessed to have her in her life. I am also beyond impressed with the emphasis on music and arts in education. When other schools are struggling to keep programs, there is such a strong emphasis on creativity and the arts.
